"Yeah?" Jerry asks, grinning as he leans in to kiss her again. Whatever nervousness he might have felt, whatever confusion there might have been earlier, all of that seems worth it now to hear her sound like this, so warm and pleased, and to know he was the cause of it. Even now, it almost doesn't make sense, like something that shouldn't be possible. That's all the more reason not to take it for granted, as if that were even possible. She's right, after all. It really is a good morning. That doesn't mean there's any reason to leave it at that. "I bet I can make it a better one."
