It's not as if he could have just known that before he asked, even in thinking he had pretty decent odds, but Jerry smiles to hear it anyway, head tipping instinctively into her touch. "Well, good," he says lightly, inclined to downplay it even now, no matter how much it means. He doesn't want her to think that it's something of little importance to him, but he doesn't want her to know how nervous he was, either. There's no need for that when she's already said yes. He leans in to kiss her again instead, quick, drawing back with a smile. "Works out well for both of us that way."
