"I make plenty of sense," Jerry says, huffing out a laugh even as he lifts a hand to trace the backs of his fingers along the line of her jaw, leaning in a moment later to press a kiss to the corner of her mouth. Sense doesn't have all that much to do with it, he knows, and he certainly didn't have any when he approached her in the first place, but that doesn't mean he's without it. Hell, he thinks it would require a distinct lack of it not to take advantage of the opportunity they've been given here, such a far cry from how it ever was back in L.A. He's wanted this for too long to let it pass them by now. "And I know I'd have to be crazy to not want to go to this party with you."
