It isn't really the same thing, Grace thinks, but she's not about to point that out. There was a point when she really was a fool to keep seeing him, and it has nothing to do with how much they wanted it. None of that matters here, though, and she doesn't really think she cares what he thinks one way or another about her options, whether in earnest or in jest. So far as she's concerned, she hasn't got any other options; she doesn't want any. "Since when do you make sense?" she asks, but she turns slightly as she does so, tipping her head up toward him. Sense doesn't have a damn thing to do with how crazy she is about him.
