Pretending to consider that for a moment, Jerry shrugs, too casual. "I don't think I really need to," he says lightly, teasing. All joking aside, there's no need. For one, he doesn't think there would really be anything all that foolish about it if she actually decided she was interested in someone else. He might relish the thought of her being entirely his, something he's wanted for longer than he could ever admit to himself, but if it ever came to that, he would never tell her what she can and can't do. That's not him. More importantly, that's not the point right now, nothing he has any intention of saying anyway. Besides, he's already told her how crazy he thinks she is, and she's still here. It probably wouldn't matter if he did, despite the threat she's implying, but that's all the more reason not to bother. "I'm not gonna give you a reason to change your mind if you don't already have one."
