It's probably a terrible way to put it when Jerry can think of a lot of ways in which she's more than a little foolish, but then, he wouldn't be here with her now if he minded that. Hell, he wouldn't be here now if it weren't true in the first place. It was pretty damn crazy of her to ever agree to meet him after the night he approached her at Slapsy Maxie's, even more so to keep coming around after that first night. And none of that has anything on the way she went running back to L.A. for him. Even so, he doesn't think any of that has any kind of bearing here. She's never been just his before, and though he knows she cares about him, there are plenty of reasons why she might want to go with someone else. When she looks at him like that, though, her fingers soft against his cheek, the last thing he'd do is point that out. He'd only meant it teasingly anyway. Still grinning down at her, he shrugs. "You really want me to answer that?"
